One fragrance direction.
Different product decisions.

Scent & setting

Describe the scent, setting and desired strength. Use a reference to identify the notes you want to keep and those you would avoid.

Format-specific development

Each format needs its own development. Specify candle wax and vessel, diffuser bottle and reeds, or spray bottle and dispenser.

Range & presentation

List scent variants, pack sizes and gift-set options. Include labels, cartons, destination markets and the use and performance information the product will carry.

What to define

Bring a useful brief.

List each scent, format and quantity.

  • Product format and intended setting
  • Fragrance direction, reference and desired scent strength
  • Wax preference or existing fragrance material, where relevant
  • Vessel, bottle, dispenser, labels and outer packaging
  • Scent variants, quantity by format and target market

Before we start

A few practical
questions.

Can the same fragrance direction be used across a candle, diffuser and spray?

Yes. We can use the same scent profile across candles, diffusers and sprays. Each product has a different base formula, so the scent may vary slightly between formats.

Do I need a finished fragrance formula to enquire?

No. A fragrance direction or reference can start the conversation. If you already have a fragrance material, include its available specifications and supplier information with the brief.
