Cream, gel and oil formulation textures

A new formula.

Define the use, customer, market and target cost. Ingredients, texture, colour, fragrance and reference products give development a clear direction.

Adapt or transfer

An existing formula.

Adapt a base or bring your formula for review. Materials, packaging compatibility and manufacturing requirements are assessed before production is confirmed.

Product development

Sampling & approval.

Review the feel, scent, appearance and application before committing to the final specification.

We prepare samples, review your feedback and refine the formula. Sampling stages, assessments and approval criteria are agreed for the project.

Technical details

Development services.

Ingredients & research

Specify ingredients to include or avoid and the target market’s requirements. Active-ingredient research may involve specialist laboratories or universities.

Testing & assessment

We define stability, microbial and preservative assessments around the product. Specialist dermatological testing, including spectrophotometric intracutaneous analysis, is arranged where relevant to the intended claims.

Natural & organic development

Formulas can take ECOCERT and COSMOS requirements into account. Identify the intended standard at the start.

Packaging & scale-up

We review container materials, product contact, dispensing, usability and filling alongside the formula. Approved samples, material specifications, checks and approval criteria guide scale-up in our manufacturing facilities. Explore manufacturing.

Natural or organic certification requires a separate assessment of the product, eligibility and supply chain. Formulation development alone is not certification.
